Thousands of coronavirus deaths recorded by ONS not due to Covid, new figures showThe ONS published for the first time figures of people who had died ‘due’ to Covid19, rather than people who had the disease mentioned on their death certificate 48k of 52k were, though. They are still inaccurate. They still many include people who died primarily as a result of other conditions but had previously tested positive for Covid.
