Exclusive: Official figures show only about one in 10 results returned within 48-hour target

Nearly nine out of 10 Covid-19 tests taken under the system used by care homes in England were returned after the government’s 48-hour target in September, official figures reveal.

I cannot fathom the decision in July not to regularly test staff In care homes and in acute settings. Maybe we would not be in such a sorry state going into winter. But then again this government haven’t a clue

I wonder why they are not sending them through? Perhaps it’s late because Boris is working on a new strategy on Herd Immunity in care homes...
