‘One Day’ is adapted from the book by David Nichols. This 14-part series tells the story of Dexter and Emma .
"It was one of those books that everyone loved, and I didn’t get. But there are loads of those, so we can’t judge this based entirely on that. "It was also really good at showing how cruel it can be to keep stringing someone along through years and years. I think they’re irritating at the beginning because when we’re young, we are irritating and maybe careless with people’s hearts. This one is a grower. I didn’t expect to like it and it won me over."Scott:"It is for me; this I would say is a triumph of a series. I have watched all 14 episodes, I did not expect to watch all 14 episodes in one sitting, I did.
"I’ve been a fan of Ambika particularly since “This is Going to Hurt.” I think she has managed to be even better in One Day than she was in that show, and that is a real high bar."Scott:"With each episode following a different year from their lives you get to see how both main characters evolve. You see how trauma and fame and disappointment twists and changes a life and changes that person.
