A MUM has showed off her amazing feature wall, which she created using free samples and a cheap template.
Mum-of-two Mel Roscoe, from Manchester, raided B&Q, Wilko and online sites for pink, blue and grey samples to line her staircase.Credit: Collect, to cut them into hexagons. Posting on Facebook, she said: "My sample wall. Cost £2.38 for the template.. All samples were FREE from stores but mostly online..""Some of the hexagons are even the envelopes that the free samples came in! Recycling at its finest ".A close-up of the samples - which were found in Wilko, B&Q and onlineIt's still a work in progress, with Mel blue tacking the hexagons onto the wall to check she liked them, before pasting them properly at a later date.
She added: "I know some are wonky but like i said theyre not properly on yet it was just to see which say i liked them". And her fellow mums loved the thrifty decoration.
