Any new party leader will need to give a different answer to the question: is Labour’s priority ideological purity, or winning power?

The shadow education secretary is likely to be in the mix for the party’s leadership after Corbyn’s resignation. Rayner was brought up on a council estate, left her local comprehensive school with no qualifications, and gave birth to her first son, Ryan, at the age of 16. She rose through the ranks of the trade union movement to become the most senior elected official of Unison before being elected to her Ashton-under-Lyne constituency in 2015.

As if you give a shite...whomever is the next Labour leader you'll take great joy in smacking them down and let Johnson carry on regardless.

They just don’t get it! They had their chance and neither Scotland which was their heartland or north of England wants them. Find another Tony Blair type and come back in 5 years!

Mr Mc Donnell has no recognition that it's his and Mr Corbyn's Trotskyite policies that the British people rejected. Bye all means replace them with poorly educated impersonators but the out come will be the same. Britain does not want a Socialist Government.

Keep doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome ..... nope

No surprise there. Their fingerprints are all over the PLP system.

If they want to remain in opposition indefinitely, then fine

No. That’s done now. Back to reality.

BIG mistake but they don’t listen so, it’s probably what’ll happen.

.... and bears sh*t in the woods. Hardly news.

Great news.
