A two-year-old girl was left brain dead after she started choking on a cocktail sausage.
Her mum Beth Ranger had desperately tried calling 999 three times before she could tell a call handler her daughter was choking.The emergency services call centre was ‘grossly’ understaffed when the toddler died, the inquest at Maidstone Coroner’s Court heard.
