Airline planned 3,500 job cuts but is ‘engaged in extensive negotiations’ with employees

Cheers Mike. How about sticking your hand in your own pocket.

Basically what hes saying is I want more money and I'm going to sack people if they dont give it me let's just stop using his shitty little airline and consign it to history where it belongs

Capitalism at its finest😩

Why can’t Michael take the cut and support those who have supported him. I’m quite sure he’s not struggling to put food on the table.

The important thing is that we can look to management to lead by example, right?

Perhaps you should start At the top.

When they pay you nothing, you actually should not call it a 'job'.

And the CEO?

Surely he is just readjusting his workforce to accommodate to projected market, no need to reduce wages. Maybe this is more to do with potentially having to recruit again in a growing market in the future and having to pay more.

Pay before profits

Of course he says that. Airline bosses are criminals

Does that include himself only taking the same was the lowest paid employee? Just asking.

Greed personified 😤

Check out the history on pay cuts and job security, it never ends well on the other hand he will more than recoup his losses. Utter scumbag

Pay cut for you too Mr O'Leary in solidarity?

To save jobs they should compromise and agree to a temporary pay cut for a year so no one loses their job

Big business always wants staff to take a pay cut. Why not start with senior management ...

Maybe it's shareholders who need to take the hit, instead of the people working in it who keep the airline running.

Billionaire O'Leary tells low paid staff to take another pay cut to save shareholders margins and company future profits...why do people work for this shit-hole of an Airline!!! leave before your sacked have some fu*king dignity!!

Indian CRPF Terrorists dragged a Kashmiri out of the car and opened fire and this is what they done after killing him. STOP KILLING INNOCENT KASHMIRIS BECAUSE KashmiriLivesMatter

How much of a pay cut will Michael O’Leary be taking?

Why should they? Not as if this 'company' can't afford it, as reportedly, although maybe 1 of smaller aero companies, has 'over £5 BILLION' cash reserves. A great deal more than some other, much larger aero companies!

And you Michael ? Will you taking a wage cut ?

Tell the shareholders to take a pay cut

'If you all work for free I promise to hire 5 million people!'

Will he be taking a pay cut?
