A police investigation has been looking into numerous county lines across England and Wales which involve young and vulnerable victims who are exploited to carry out the Class A drug supply of heroin and crack cocaine.
On Thursday, May 2, Merseyside Police executed two warrants in the Childwall and Sefton Park areas. Ruby O’Keefe, 21, of Colby Close, Childwall, and Kerry Russell, 38, of Titherington Way, Sefton Park have both been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin, four counts of conspiring to arrange/facilitate the travel of another with a view to exploitation and conspiracy to acquire criminal property.
They were both remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool magistrates court today, Friday, May 3. James O’Keefe, 22, who was produced from HMP Risley, has been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin, four counts of conspiring to arrange/facilitate the travel of another with a view to exploitation and conspiracy to acquire criminal property, being concerned in the supply of Class B in custodial institution and possessing a mobile whilst in prison.
