As the NHS celebrates its 72nd birthday this weekend, the LightItBlue initiative will pay tribute to those who have risked their own lives to look after patients caught up in the coronavirus crisis.

crisis. The anniversary will see people encouraged to observe a minute’s silence at 8pm tonight and to light a candle in remembrance of people who have lost their lives to Covid-19.
