The work and pensions minister was filmed belting out ‘I’ve Had The Time Of My Life’ at a Conservative Party Conference karaoke night in October – hours before cutting Universal Credit.

Brits have been urged not to do any ‘snogging under the mistletoe’ at Christmas parties this year.

Work and Pensions Secretary Therese Coffey insisted that people should be able to enjoy this Christmas, following last year’s Covid disaster. The UK Health Security Agency chief executive Dr Jenny Harries had suggested people should start reducing unnecessary socialising given the possible threat from Omicron – but Government ministers quickly rowed back.
