Michael van Gerwen and Luke Humphries heaped praise on Luke Littler during the teenager's meeting with Rob Aspinall in the Premier League Darts quarter-final. The 17-year-old sensation impressed the duo as he wrapped up a 6-5 win to book himself a place in the semi-finals.

Littler, who grew up in Warrington, held his index finger to his lips to 'shhh' the Scottish locals, who may have just become his new rivals. One user, who goes by @ElliotGCFC on X, formerly known as Twitter, posted: "Unplayable. Unbelievable. Star. Luke Littler [clapping hands emoji."
