Because while some MH disorders are chemical/genetic & can be treated, a growing number are societal pressure related. There is no pill, you can’t talk someone out of shit because of expectations that can’t be met. Safety nets must be widened to include practical help.

When the homeless finally crack social services are there to help, it is sad to find out there's no father Christmas or a tooth fairy but that's life.
