Personally I’d say it’s the badge of the people who have to be out and about in all weathers and in the dark. The people you see going to work at 0600. The people who turn up in an emergency ie the people we depend on.

But Verdi is changing that

The protest originally started when a tax hike on petrol was introduced - since hi vis bibs as you call ‘em were made mandatory in every car here in France a while back, the costume must’ve seemed appropriate, and cheap (Trolls, I am aware I am reacting literally, it’s fyi only)

3 million construction workers should be ashamed of themselves the bastards!

Cabbies should keep a hi viz in their cabs handy when changing a wheel on a dark night & a pissed up Volvo driver misses you by inches (2.24cm)

Who writes this pure shit?.... I mean seriously 🙄

I'm gonna start wearing one here in America

It replaced the clipboard And pen

Men prefer younger women not for their firmer bodies – but their greater admiration | Zoe WilliamsThe French novelist Yann Moix claims a 50-year-old woman’s body is unlovable, unlike a 25-year-old’s. But the truth is that the young tend to respect the old – and that is what older men desire Oh is that so? I thought it was for their voracious sexual appetites.

These Steiner ‘failures’ are really a failure of the free school agenda | Zoe WilliamsIt turns out that letting anyone open a Steiner school wasn’t one of Michael Gove’s best ideas, says Guardian columnist Zoe Williams So this is where Scott Steiner learnt maths you have no knowledge of the actual schools and your article is just opinion. To understand how far British political discourse has fallen, visit College Green | Zoe WilliamsThe patch of grass outside parliament, often used by broadcasters for news reports, is now a haven for sinister hecklers who epitomise the breakdown of civil debate To understand how far the Guardian’s journalistic ethics has fallen, visit their Twitter Feed. This has now extended to looking the other way to the use of violence
