Portsmouth head coach John Mousinho describes his role as a 'special privilege' as they return to the second tier of English football for the first time in 12 years.

"I have never experienced anything like that, the atmosphere here was incredible," 37-year-old Mousinho told BBC Radio Solent.

With two games remaining, Portsmouth's win confirmed them in top spot on 94 points, eight clear of second-placed Derby County. He joined Pompey in 2023 and following the win over Barnsley, he paid tribute to the support of his players and staff."I'm genuinely pleased for everyone connected with the football club, they've gone through so much, it's been so tough over the past 15 years.
