A man has been rushed to hospital following a 'disturbance' in the Govanhill area of Glasgow. An eye-witness claims to have witnessed a 'fight' before emergency crews were called to the scene late this afternoon.

The incident unfolded at around 4.20pm this afternoon, April 12, on Victoria Road in Govanhill - both ambulance and police were called to the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.20pm on Friday, 12 April, 2024 we were called to a report of a disturbance on Victoria Road, Glasgow."Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
