An aviation fan has said goodbye to a replica Spitfire fighter plane he spent seven years restoring in his garden.
"I didn't expect much" said Mr Paradine when he decided to go to Mr Linsell's house to take a look at the replica. He bought the plane from a friend for about £6,000 and has spent the years since completing essential repairs.
Brilliant build, it really is great to see such a great and historic Aircraft being restored and kept for the Country, the next best thing for such a gracious beautiful Aircraft is to hear a working Merlin in the nose, Thank You for your hard work
Great effort but I bet the neighbour's will be glad to see it fly away seems a little inconsiderate if in permanent view
