The Love Island star, 32, who shot to fame on the second season of the show in 2016, has become a vocal campaigner for body confidence, the dark side of fame and the problems with social media since moving into the limelight.
Malin Andersson has issued a stark warning to followers about the perils of surgery in a new Instagram post shared on Thursday 'Funny how I’ve learnt to love every part of me through ALL of the pain. I just don’t want anyone making the same mistakes I did.' As a result Malin and her fellow Islanders like Olivia and Alex Bowen, Cara De La Hoyde, and Kady McDermott, were among the first to experience the sudden overnight fame that comes with being on the ITV2 show.
Malin explained that she had ventured to Turkey seven years ago to undergo the fat removal, however carrying both her daughters, Xaya, two, and Consy, who tragically passed away at just 30 days old in 2019, left her skin damaged Laura Anderson said she began doubting her appearance, Zara McDermott admitted she struggled not to be 'self-obsessed' due to social media and Samira Mighty admitted that on her worst days she 'hates' her life and struggles to get out of bed.
