If you've been eyeing up a pair of designer sunglasses, today is the day to purchase a pair because Boots has just dropped a major sale on designer specs from the likes of Chloe and Ray-Ban

If there's one accessory that can elevate any spring/summer outfit it's a pair of designer sunglasses. Though the price of a pair can be hard to justify, despite the cost per wear seeming relatively low, it's an investment your warm weather wardrobe will be thankful for.

Today, Boots Opticians is set to take the sting out of that worthwhile investment with its designer sunglasses sale, which sees pairs from top brands like Chloe, Ray-Ban and Mulberry slashed by 25%. To redeem the offer, you need to head to your local store where you can shop for designer picks in prescription and non-prescription forms.Mulberry SML215, £190 but now £142.

Also in Sunglasses Hut's up to 50% off sale, you can shop this gorgeous oversized Versace pair for £179.20 . Simply pair with some athleisure and an iced latte to really finish off the 'Pilates mum off duty' look. If you need an extra reason to invest in some statement sunnies, Boots optometrist, Opinder Malhi, explains: "Our eyes are 10 times more sensitive to UV damage compared to our skin and exposure to the sun's UV rays at any time of the year can damage your eyes. So, it's important that you wear your sunglasses when you're outdoors to protect your eyes, even when it's cloudy.
