'An honest appraisal of how the Scandinavian country has fared raises plenty of awkward questions for politicians in the rest of Europe,' writes RossjournoClark

Sweden has fulfilled the same role during the Covid-19 crisis as Argentina fulfils in every World Cup. It’s the team which everyone – apart from the natives themselves, naturally – wants to get beaten. This has been especially true in the liberal US press, which has taken time off from berating Donald Trump to publish lengthy pieces on the supposed failure of the Swedish approach.

RossjournoClark simple maths, months lockdown x 10,000 'care home deaths in NORMAL times'+further deaths in care homes since this propoganda+death caused by no NHS urgent treatment = fake propoganda mortality, GENOCIDE OF THE ELDERLY, CRIMINALS

RossjournoClark Ridiculous. When Croatia gets beaten I turn to Argentina.

RossjournoClark No

RossjournoClark 2 Several countries that did impose compulsory lockdowns did as well or better. Sweden’s GDP fell by 8.6% It was 8.4% in the Czech Republic, & just 5.1 per cent in Lithuania, the lowest in the EU. Recent data suggests that spending in Denmark has recovered faster than in Sweden

RossjournoClark 1 Sweden has about 8200 confirmed cases per million people as of 12 August, compared with 1780 in Norway and 2560 in Denmark. (For the UK it is 4600) Sweden has had 57 deaths per 100,000, compared with five in Norway and 11 in Denmark. (For the UK it is 70).

RossjournoClark I stand with Sweden The voice of reason and proportionality in the midst of a whole bunch of inept panic ridden arse covering f*cking clowns

91an_Karlsson RossjournoClark Compared to the other Nordic countries that can travel to UK without quarantine. Finland and Denmarks economies have also have also sustained less drop in GDP. How can this be a Swedish success?🙃

RossjournoClark Watch and share it’s important

RossjournoClark Swedish people are not British people. Speaking with Swedish associates early in Lockdown they did it of their own volition because they had more common sense than to need to be forced.

RossjournoClark The preoccupation with a low population, low density, socially responsible country that has well funded and high capacity health care, as a comparator for the UK and the USA says a lot about anti mask, anti lockdown selfish people.

RossjournoClark Just because it wasnt enforced by government, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen! People in Sweden largely locked-down voluntarily when they saw how many people were getting sick and dying.

RossjournoClark Sweden is an absolute disaster. Worst

RossjournoClark we should have been stricter in some cases but generally I feel we have done it right here but that's not to say it should have worked elsewhere.keeping schools open was the best and right thing to do.i do not understand why that has become such a chaotic issue in the uk .

RossjournoClark Yes there are population and spacing differences with other countries but Sweden did get this right. The lockdown measures taken have been far too excessive for the risk.A 0.009% death rate is not worth mass unemployment, failing to educate kids and decades of economic hardship.

RossjournoClark Remember that during the month of August there's a cash prize for the person that spots the first Telegraph article about Covid19 that ISN'T complete nonsense. ***SPOILER ALER: it isn't this one***

RossjournoClark Several years ago i read that swedish retailers refused to accept cash payments making Sweden the 1st country in the world to start switching over to a digital currency so maybe Sweden’s covid 19 results could be justification for every country to change to digital currency

RossjournoClark They have one of the highest deaths per capita in the world. How have they got it right?

RossjournoClark All the data so far proves that Sweden was right and everyone else were just a fact.Abusive, useless measures with an social and economic impact that is hard to count.Well done,Sweden.

RossjournoClark Sweden has done exceptionally well. Having exposed the lie that such drastic and harmful measures were ever needed.

RossjournoClark The population density of England is 10 times that of Sweden!

RossjournoClark We are being dehumanised and our country has been destroyed. This has nothing to do with public health

RossjournoClark Well Sweden has circa 10 million inhabitants (UK = 66 million plus) and Sweden is twice the land area of UK. Do the math. Not hard to self-distance. Also not as rebellious as the Brits. Each country is different and comparison is not accurate.

RossjournoClark This has all been done to sell a vaccine nobody needs for the benefit of Big Pharma and Bill Gates

RossjournoClark This is what happens when you ask scientists and Medical Experts to provide solutions outside their field of expertise! - You end up with a Sterile, Dead and socially unworkable Society! Millions lose their jobs & government expenditure Soars! - The Media are accountable too!!!

RossjournoClark 99.97% Survive and the average age of those who died 'with' covid was over 80 and they nearly all had terminal and chronic disease

RossjournoClark Sweden received a lot of flack in the beginning, but congrats to them on not destroying themselves due to peer pressure.

RossjournoClark This is how you create a fake pandemic NicolaSturgeon

RossjournoClark Sweden have done awesome. About time we followed suit.

RossjournoClark Lockdown is to prevent Immunity from Developing Immunity = No Need for Vaccine The Vaccine must be deployed at ALL Cost 99.97% survive Mandated vaccines will be enforced by state surveilance and control. This is the end of liberty unless you resist. Disobey, Refuse

RossjournoClark What ever the government does, someone will complain. Same in Sweden and every other country. Social medial gives a platform for unhappy people

RossjournoClark Well done Sweden

RossjournoClark Only of you're asking questions like 'how could you have done much, much worse at this?' Which, I'll admit, would be an awkward question to ask.

RossjournoClark Lockdown was require because it was the only tool we had against the virus early in the pandemic. Supporters of “lockdown” are no longer required now that we have huge testing capacity, effective treatments, social distancing infrastructure, etc.

RossjournoClark And everyone will find any reason to dismiss the fact that the impact was nowhere near what the flawed models predicted. Why? Because people are too embarrassed to admit they were wrong.
