The supermarket says it wants to encourage healthy choices, as the UK faces a child obesity crisis.

Professor Louis Levy, from Public Health England, said Lidl's announcement was"encouraging" and that more retailers should follow.

try removing chocolate may be more effective.

yeh and replace it with LGBT bs

Well that will stop the kids eating them .Parents will just have to make them a good old english fry up instead...Job done

They should do the same with chocolate bars like they do with packs of cigarettes and show what damages it does !!

yes, that will end fat kids 100% .. genius move .. well done sarcasm

start with the sugar etc levels first 🤷‍♂️

Children eat the cereal because parents buy for them and secondly they taste good. If you put a cartoon character on Brussel sprouts or broccoli packaging children will not eat more greens. We live in a world of denial where the real problems are.

Not sure how many kids buy them tbh

The best way to stop childhood obesity is to remove their cartoon character parents.

Please, leave the pictures, but take cereal out

Replace with pictures of cartoon characters with photos of politicians' faces and the kids will skip breakfast. Problem solved.

Removing some of the sugar might be a better option.

my kids have already dropped 3 dress sizes thanks lidl

Crikey hope Tony the tiger and the Honey monster have a good lawyer 🤨🙄

Wtf.....barking mad. How many times are kids with us when we shop. Dont buy them if you dont want them....

Ridiculous!! Kids dont buy cereal. Hows utterley barmy!!!

Cut the sugar no one got obese eating a cardboard box, it’s the content for goodness sake.
