A Liberal Democrat candidate in the marginal seat of Stockton South has effectively endorsed his Labour rival, urging supporters to “vote tactically” to defeat the Conservatives.

It’s still possible to stop Boris achieving a majority tomorrow. Spread the word that people need to vote tactically. We need to pressure 3rd placed candidates to throw their support behind no. 2 party.
