Wigan MP Lisa Nandy has announced she wil stand for the leadership. In a letter to the Wigan Post she said she wanted to bring Labour"home" to voters in its traditional strongholds who have abandoned the party. Nandy went on to say that she understands"that we have one chance to win back the trust of people in Wigan, Workington and Wrexham." A YouGov poll shows that Nandy is the first preference for 6% of partymembers.
Someone should also tell this to US democrats.
Inconsistency: does lisanandy realise she is also calling female voters ‘irrational and transphobic’ - if she can see one, why can’t see the other?

Labour died at the election yet they are still so blind to see it for themselves.
But they can't help themselves. Being a elitist snob is a part of their nature.
Perhaps then she could look at the way WPUK and its female supporters in the Labour Party are treated, starting with her own ridiculous notions that transwomen are women. They are not, in case you wondered. They are men.
But what if some of them ARE? Is it possible to say that none of them are, or have ever been so? Isn't it possible to discern the difference any more? What is an adult conversation supposed to look like? Have we commodified politics to the point where 'the voter is always right'?

I'm a longstanding UKLabour voter, and I've never felt treated like this by the party. What is lisanandy talking about?
