General election 2019: Labour and Tories in Armistice Day forces vows

, after being suspended from the Commons by its standards watchdog, is promising to spend £845m a year on improving children's mental health, including a counsellor for every school

Mr Johnson has pledged to change the law to protect forces veterans from"vexatious" legal action, if the Conservatives win a majority at the election. He says the party will introduce legislation to ensure the Law of Armed Conflict has primacy and that peacetime laws are not applied to service personnel on military operations.

Military veterans will also be guaranteed a job interview for any public sector role they apply for - and there will be a potential tax cut for businesses that employ veterans, under Tory plans. The party says its plan to scrap the public sector pay cap will boost the income of the lowest paid members of the forces.

Labour is also promising to provide"decent housing" for forces personnel and their families by ending the reliance on the private rented sector.

Why edit the cenotaph video to show Boris Johnson in a better light?

We by did you edit the wreath laying and Boris Johnson? Would you do that for Corbyn. Course not.

Why did you deliberately mislead us this morning showing old footage of boris laying a wreath at the cenotaph?possibly because he didn't do very well yesterday?you don't deserve to be the BBC or the licence,

Hi. Why did you use footage three years old showing Johnson laying a different wreath? He actually put the wreath upside down yesterday. 'News' would have been what actually occurred. Soldiers died to protect the country from state propaganda. Shameful.

LestWeForget 🇬🇧

Why did you show an old clip from 2016 this morning, showing Johnson laying a green wreath, with his hair a bit neater? Bizarre cock up there guys BBCBreakfast

Corbyn will be curtains for the army

Corbyn pointed out, that as he plans to disband the military and put his trust in terrorist groups protecting his interest. There will not be any veterans, as all British military will be prosecuted for anti terrorist hate crimes. Then their pensions won’t need to be paid either.

So who do believe... the ones that have shredded the Forces to its, current state and doesnt fund vets... or one who openly hates the Forces ..wants to imprison Ireland vets and would scrap any future development programmes ....

The only thing Corbyn wants to give the armed services is a criminal record

good god look at that, Boris combed his hair. Now there's respect.

OUT DATED EXPIRED REJECTED POLITICAL SYSTEM,

The only thing the armed services will get from Corbyn is a 🖕 And maybe a criminal record...

General election: Labour 'spending splurge' would cost extra £1.2tn, Tories claimThe Conservative Party says that paying for Labour's plans is equivalent to funding the NHS for nine years. Given they've not released a 2019 manifesto yet I'm wondering how they(Tories) have costed it / what they've costed? Some part of it will go to 'normal' people pockets, not all trillions what was stolen by Tory from people.
