Ruth Langsford, Gloria Hunniford, Linda Robson and Janet Street-Porter supported the reality star after her programme Harvey and Me showed her looking for a residential college for her 18-year-old son.
Gloria said she hopes the documentary has shown people a ‘different side’ of Katie, adding: ‘For 18 years she has loved and cared for that boy — she has a real knack of settling him and dealing with him which i find very, very emotional.’Ruth pointed out: ‘There’s no doubt that her love and care and attention is unwavering for that young man.
‘I thought it was really impressive she got him to cook, she got him to change his bed, well done Katie.’ Ruth finished the segment by sending love to Katie and telling her: ‘We know what an incredible mother you are and our love to you.’
