Dunn and Josi join them in sub-20 percent territory. Meanwhile, Spurgeon, Makar, Fox, Burns, Lindholm, and McAvoy average over two minutes per game on the penalty kill.
Sometimes a coach tries to limit a player’s minutes in those situations because their usage is so high elsewhere — that’s true for Heiskanen in Dallas, now under Peter DeBoer.
