Hunt caused further anguish when he said the “Scottish” oil and gas industry was one of the Budget "losers". He said of the extension: “It's disappointing that what we had wanted didn't happen but the budget as a whole needs to be seen in context and also the position of the Scottish Conservatives needs to be seen in context.
