Janet Jackson, 57, reveals she turned down a film role that went to Halle Berry... as Drew Barrymore...

While stopping by The Drew Barrymore Show on Thursday, the 57-year-old crooner was told her outfit looked very Matrix. Then Drew asked if she almost did that Keanu Reeves film.Janet went on to reveal that she was asked to play Storm in the 2000 film X-Men, but said no because she was going on tour.

That is when Barrymore said for the first time ever that she was offered a part in Boogie Nights with Mark Wahlberg. 'There was a moment where we were talking about Boogie Nights and I think it's when I went and did Ever After and I went in a very different direction.'When Ross Matthews asked Janet if she would ever star in a movie again she offered: 'Sure, I would for sure.'

Barrymore said for the first time ever that she was offered a part in Boogie Nights with Mark Wahlberg . 'It's so hard when you like are thinking of doing a film and then you don't end up doing it,' shared Drew. 'I have so many of those experiences. And do you still, does it still to this day like, mine was, I've never said this out loud, Boogie Nights'

While talking to Allure back in 2022, Janet opened up about her evolving style growing up and while also working in the entertainment industry.
