The YouTube star gave his social media followers quite an eyeful on Saturday night, when he decided toIt was a bold move to ensure hackers wouldn’t be able to use the photo against him, but now it seems is trying to use the attention to promote a good cause. In the early hours of Sunday morning, the 20-year-old shared the same nude selfie but this time covered his modesty with an important message.Thousands of fires are ravaging through Brazil’s Amazon rainforest in one of the worst blazes in almost a decade.Many of James’ fans applauded the move, including one who wrote: ‘We love a queen who uses his platform to spread awareness.’

Making a cheeky pun about the nude selfie, one quipped: ‘A tweet of yours I can get behind, okay sir, climate prince.’It comes after James and several other YouTubers, including Shane Dawson, found themselves at risk of being hacked. Explaining his decision to leak his own nude photo, James told his four million followers: ‘Hi I got my account back.

Horrible if his account did get 'hacked'. But using your posed nude will not solve the amazon rainforest problems, especially if it's self promotion🙄 if you want to help, go there and volunteer.

This is nonsense. Wtf has his selfie got to do with the amazon rainforest fire. All he is doing is promoting himself and you’re actually applauding for it. SMH
