Manchester's most famous Howard has had his say

Take That star Howard Donald has spoken out - amid an extraordinary campaign of "Howard" graffiti sweeping Manchester. The graffiti tag has been the talk of the town in recent weeks, with the name Howard emblazoned across walls, road signs and windows.

For on Saturday, Howard shared a number of images on his social media of the "Howard" graffiti that he has spotted around Manchester. It included pictures of the Howard tag on a brick wall, Howard in a tunnel, and Howard outside Manchester Piccadilly train station. But Howard, 56, from Higher Openshaw, has now ruled himself OUT of responsibility for the tags.

The graffitti has left Mancs scratching their heads in recent weeks - with the identity of whoever is behind it remaining a mystery. Coun Pat Karney, who represents Harpurhey and lives in the city centre told the MEN last month that he's making it his personal mission to see Howard's actions put to a stop.
