Brexit: Is it bonkers to push the PM's plan again?

It's not crazy to ask if it's bonkers for the government to have yet another go at getting the prime minister's plan for Brexit through Parliament. The prime minister who is trying to push it through is off soon, so has not exactly got much political authority left.

MPs are not being asked to give a simple thumbs up or thumbs down to the idea of leaving, but to give a verdict on a much bigger package of legislation. 4. Bear with me for this next bit - MPs can make changes to bills, or put forward amendments, as a bill goes through Parliament. So MPs don't get to suggest, discuss and then vote on the changes they'd like to make.

One prominent supporter of another referendum tells me that if the prime minister committed to support the bill and if they have been successful in changing it to mean there's another referendum, then"things could get interesting".

Yes!

Yup

Let me tell you something! May is devious, deranged, deluded and dangerous. She colluded with Robbins and Barnier to concoct ‘her deal’ which is not Brexit we voted for nor were promised! She knows it and you know it. No May, no£39 B, no backstop, no border, no deal, no problem!

Yes. It's a hated plan

Yes

She’s definitely is 😂😂😂

Bit like entering Eurovision just flogging a dead horse

'God told me to do it', May claims... Bonkers, not arf!

Yes.

Aye, probably but she will do it anyway.

Theresa May's government the wasted years

No, it's great. Better than Game of Thrones by the sound of things.

I can feel the biggest stitch up in UK history! The MP’s will vote some lame semibrexit just to stop a real Brexit from happening. There could be trouble ahead!!

PM thinks fourth time is democratic, yet after three years from original referendum, she still refuses to check with the public that Brexit is what they want! Because apparently a result based on fraud and corruption is ok if it furthers the govs own agenda!

Oh my god absolutely,, maybe she’s after a milkshake

Well... This comes to mind.

And how considerate to add a clause for workers!! What was she planning before, sod the workers?

No, but try pushing it up her arse, sideways.

Not if your foolish!

The woman is a traitor and so are the BBC.

Wait....she has a plan?! What is it

It's no point in even asking. Britain is NOT in the real world. Its in a Python sketch. We are hopping about insanely. AFTER BREXIT VICTORY!

Yes!

You would say that you’re anti Brexit

No....it helps! brexitparty_uk

If the cap fits....

Yes

A PIGS EAR IS STILL A PIGS EAR.

Are you f...... serious this is just Arrrrgggg let’s keep voting delaying dragging our heels she is finished her surrender treaty is dead parliament is a betraying mess

Yes, it is.

Her Withdrawal Agreement is a betrayal of the referendum result She and every MP can no longer be trusted to work for the people

flog that dead horse, not even del boy could flog that crock of shat

A plan made in the EU for the EU is not a plan made by traitor may

Bonkers & delusional.

Mrs May the final nail in your coffin will come at the end of week then your out , see ya 😊👍

Definitely it’s like ground hog day

Yes.

Shes bonkers!

Nope! Bonkers was the last one. These is just flat out cunty!

This women needs psychological help, surely there must be a psychiatrist willing to take her on?

History will not be kind to May. Buffoon.

Yes

The real question, is she bonkers?

Yes and so is she.

The plan like the PM is fucking ridiculous

ER YES!! But she doesn't listen or take on board anything anyone else says, worst PM ever!!

Any decent honourable pm would have resigned if they couldn't get one policy through parliament let alone 3 failures on a massive scale .But then this Tory party don't give a ff about honour and decency .So long as the trough is kept available to them

Totally bonkers just as she is if she thinks anyone wants anything to do with her or her plans.

Yes no one will vote for it

Last gasp looks like from here

She might be bonkers but the sensible thing for Parliament to do , would be to pass it subject to a confirmatory public vote. If the public vote against we Remain, we revoke Article 50 and the new Tory Prime Minister can try their luck.

Only May the lunatic can see no wrong in her plan she is completely Mad and detached from reality

No.I think has been trying to do her best.🙏

Desperate more like!

We're way beyond bonkers..

Yes

After the first defeat, it was bonkers to push it a second time, never mind the third and now the fourth. The offer from Brussels is not really Brexit. It was rightly chucked out by Parliament. The EU have made it clear that it was not negotiable.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

You really need to proof read these things before you put them out. Brexit: It is bonkers to push the PM's plan again! FixedThatForYou

Push her! To the curb!

Question is; Is she Bonkers

🙄😞🤢🤮

Worst pm ever

Yes

The Speaker should block this once and for all. For me its the same plan just worded differently and will be voted down again. Speaker should block this and put PM May out of her misery. She will stand down as the PM who failed brexit Brexitshambles

Yes

Don't say 'bonkers' on the BBC. You are not The Daily Star. It may be 'hopeless' or 'pointless'. This is also mildly disparaging in terms of mental health and like those 1950s slurs based on physical disabilities that were once so common, this phraseology is obsolete and clumsy.

Nooooooo......

Yes

Yes

See mental health awareness week didn't really work for yr editorial team - is 'bonkers' a suitable term?

It’s like ground hog day in Parliament. But I truly believe that they will not vote for anything Brexit related other than withdrawal of article 50 because they are no longer a democratic institution.

In a word - YES

Certifiably insane... as defined by Einstein.

There'sa definition of madness.

Of course

Lets pretend we live in a democracy and don't have a totalitarian govt and police state. 🤡🤡

Miss Nasty Party: I can think of 17.4 million reasons why Theresa May is unfit to be Prime Minister! Vote brexitparty_uk Thank You!

Errr yes. If they’d spent a tiny piece of the time spent talking in circles they could have come up with a technical solution to the NI border by now. Wankers

Government machine? Is that the machine that started going wrong in 2017 and finally broke down altogether two months ago?

Of course it is.

Anyone remember the old Monty Python 'Spot the Looney' skit? Just focus the camera on the Houses of Parliament and...there you are.😎

It’s bonkers to push Brexit ☹️☹️

Yup!

Yes.

In the absence of major changes, yes. Gov must do the following at minimum 👇

umpteenth time lucky I guess

of course it is, but then this Govt is bonkers so its par for the course

Yep

yes
