The Great Celebrity Bake Off 2024 contestant and comedian is back on TV alongside Danny Dyer, Jodie Whittaker, Mel B and Oti Mabuse to raise awareness of Stand Up To Cancer

The Great Celebrity Bake Off is back for another series this year with a fresh batch of famous people. Among those trying their best to bake up a storm is Jodie Whittaker, Paloma Faith, Munya Chawawa, Spencer Matthews and Rhod Gilbert.

In 2023, Rhod fronted A Pain in the Neck for Channel 4 which was a brutally honest documentary following his diagnosis with head and neck cancer. He announced the news in 2022 and confirmed he was being treated at Cardiff's Velindre Cancer Centre. "The best thing was that the tumour had gone, and it was once again an ordinary blood vessel" he added. Rhod married long term partner Sian Harries, a Welsh actress, in 2013.
