Labour wasnt defeated, Conservatives only grew their share by 1%. Labour ran a poor campaign trying to buy votes which didnt appeal to tax payers. This was all about brexit, trying to side step the issue with no stance costed votes.
Of course campaigns are a team effort, but the team follows the directive of its leader. If the team fails the leader takes the fall. Corbyn doesn't understand leadership, that's why he lost.
