Charles Moore: I don’t envy pro-Brexit MPs – they are now left with an impossible dilemma

Theresa May and Philip Hammond got the two top jobs because of the Brexit result, which they opposed. Ever since, both have worked flat out to prevent what 17.4 million people voted for. Mrs May has done this by mistake. Mr Hammond has done it on purpose.

Lol, poor brexit MPs. They swayed a vote 4 brexit w/ no plan & no clear vision that wudnt hurt the UK. Poor brexiteers that R clueless 2 how the EU & UK work 2gether. No sympathy 4 all the con-artist that have shown a complete incompetence on this issue.

Truly disgusted by Parliament! No matter what the democratic vote was leave. Parliament is not carrying out the will of the people, the whole lot regardless of party, should be sacked in my opinion.😡

Womp, womp, as the Americans say these days! They caused this tragedy! Why sympathize with them? Ef them!! 🤮

Actively work in Parliament for no WA deal. Obfuscate, prevaricate and do everything possible to talk out any new legislation that’s tabled for Article 50 extension. Parliamentary procedure has got us in this mess, so use the same procedure to deliver no deal.

Jacob Rees-Mogg may have to return in disgrace to Hong Kong.

they still get their salaries and pensions, as well as the profits from their hedge funds. WE DON'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of the most successful businessmen and in particular entrepreneurs, face 'impossible dilemas' on a regular basis, and in some cases, these go against their long-held principles/beliefs, but finally do what is best for the long term benefit of the business. CharlesHMoore

Young man, Are you listening to me? I said, young man, what do you want to be? I said, young man, you can make real your dreams, but you've got to know this one thing. No man, does it all by himself I said, young man, put WTO on the shelf And just go there, to the E.F.T.A.!

They are not facing a dilemma at all. They ignorant old men who made undeliverable promises that stood to make them large personal financial gains when the UK left the EU. Now they’ve been exposed they should simply vote to revoke Art50 so that the UK can move on to prosperity.

There was so much against Brexit from the start ie. media, gov and EU who all colluded to stop it. There’s a lot of very unhappy people in this country who feel deceived and tricked

Brexit is a purly stupid idea!

Sartorially bleak. Jacob Rees-Morgue

Oh, how sad, never mind 🤣

Whole country badly served by PM and some of her cabinet

Being hard brexit eers` mouthpiece the shares their dilemma.

Which is exactly what Mrs May is counting on. That the fear of Brexit itself being cancelled will force them to accept it. I hope they continue to have the courage of their convictions...

Only light at end of tunnel is that if Brexiteer is killed, future EU plans will ensure that hatred of EU and it's political supporters will grow exponentially until nothing can stop us leaving in a few years.

I never envied them anyway!

it is their own damned fault: Rees, Farage etc have done zero; they had 3 years from 2013 to identify problems with Leaving (NI, immigration, air, defence, etc), propose solutions, propose plan to Leave, develop consensus - they did NOTHING except reject / complain

You might as well break the Easter bunny and Santa Clause bubble to them at the same time

Interesting take - it’s everyone’s problem.

A clear duty in the key week for Brexit - EXPRESS COMMENTAT THE start of another crucial week in British politics our MPs need to have one thing on their minds and one thing only. Remaining is the best deal! That your opinion! No Deal Brexit is the real Why not join the 'I am Stupid Chorus' the daily express has, repeating old arguments is not going to help. The deal will be voted down unless the EU makes a concession on the Irish backstop time limit. What happens after that is anyones guess.
