A dog walker was left horrified after discovering the body of a huge snake on a beach near Dundee . James O'Donnell was out for a stroll in Broughty Ferry one morning last April when his pup, Barney, noticed something strange.
Keeping his precious pet away from the carcass, James phone the Scottish SPCA and Dundee City Council's Environmental Services to inform them of his shock find. "I immediately got my dog on his lead, took some pictures and contacted the SSPCA and DCC Environmental Services. It’s certainly not everyday you come across something like this on a Scottish beach."
"We have alerted SSPCA who have also received a prior call and officers are attending. Please avoid the area to allow officers to collect the poor snake."
