fans have waited for the best part of two years for season two - and now it is so nearly here, we are filling you in on all you need to know about season two. So when is it coming out, and what can we expect from the next instalment and the upcoming spin-offs?Episode one will premiere on HBO on 16 June at 9pm, and while simultaneously be available in the UK via Sky or NOW. The second series will have a shorter run than season one, with only eight episodes instead of ten.
Speaking about the show on his website, author George RR Martin wrote: "Yes, there is a Jon Snow show in development… It was Kit Harrington who brought the idea to us. I cannot tell you the names of the writers/ showrunners, since that has not been cleared for release yet… but Kit brought them in too, his own team, and they are terrific."There are several other spin-off series, but none have a release date quite yet.
