Helen Flanagan's tough time' after anxiety and psychosis ‘took a toll’

Helen Flanagan has bravely broken her silence on her ‘terrible’ battle with anxiety and psychosis after splitting from ex-husband Scott Sinclair. And while the mother-of-three has been through some dark times, a source tells that she is finally bouncing back and is feeling strong again.

At the time, the former Corrie star opened up in a TikTok video titled “dating as a single mum”, saying: “I was with my ex forever, from 19 until 31, and he was like my one. I remember when we first got together, I was so in love with him. He was the best thing that ever happened to me really because he was my life.

Opening up about the tough time in a recent Instagram post, the 33-year-old candidly spoke about her battle in the hope of helping others who might be going through similar - but assured fans that she was feeling ‘lighter’ now. “I was emotionally struggling with the break up from the father of my kids but I had a really bad reaction though to the medication and it sent me into a psychosis for a few days which I didn’t know I was in x.”

“She’s now trying to help others who are going through a similar situation. It’s also clear that her kids always have and always will be her priority. They helped her out the other side and were her reason to face her struggles.”
