Northern Ireland could see temperatures up to 30C as health officials warn of heatwave dangers

In the Republic of Ireland, a yellow weather warning is in place with temperatures expected to reach up to 32C .Emergency services in Northern Ireland have said they expect an increase in the number of less urgent calls to 999.Due to the risks from warm weather, Downing Street said the alerts were beingClimate change has made heatwaves more likely, as well as more intense and lasting longer.

The world has already warmed by about 1.1C since the industrial era began and temperatures will keep rising unless governments around the world make steep cuts to emissions.Northern Ireland had its hottest day of the year so far on Sunday with 27.7C recorded in Armagh.in Northern Ireland was 31.3C in Castlederg in County Tyrone last year.

I went for 10 Mile run at 10am in the baking sun I'm currently eating vegetable curry, then I'll go for a 5 Mile walk in the sun then I'll go home and drank tins of beer in the sun 🌞it's fecking great
