Hersh Goldberg-Polin, 23, from Jerusalem, was last seen when Hamas militants loaded him into the back of a pickup truck with other hostages abducted from a music festival in the on 7 Oct October The video shows Mr Goldberg-Polin, who is missing one of his hands, identifying himself and asking the Israeli government to return the hostages seized by the Palestinian militant group more than six months ago.
“The State of Israel has no more time to waste; the hostages must come first, without them the State of Israel will have no revival and no victory. Mr Goldberg-Polin was taken from the Supernova festival near Re’im on the morning of 7 October when Hamas killed 1,200 Israelis, before taking an estimated 250 hostages back into Gaza. Videos from the Hamas attack have shown that Mr Goldberg-Polin’s arm was blown off from the elbow down, likely by a grenade thrown by Hamas.
