Dave Myers received a heartfelt tribute from hundreds of motorcycle riders, as Si King took to social media to share a heartwarming statement. Numerous admirers of Hairy Bikers gathered on roads to honour the beloved TV star, Dave Myers, who sadly passed away in February from cancer, aged 66.
Si King expressed his profound appreciation on social media after being deeply moved by the outpouring of support. He posted: "A message to all the riders taking part in today's Memorial Ride Out for Dave Myers. I hope the ride out goes well for you all," reports the Mirror. Another follower commented: "Love this! RIP Dave .... A true gent xx." Whereas another enthusiast said: "What a guy, what a partnership. Trying the chilli and coffee beef brisket tonight. It's marinating as we speak."
He added: "It's really strange for us all not to have Dave around but for now, we will keep posting on the Hairy Bikers' socials to keep in touch with all those people who have been so kind over many years and particularly in recent weeks."
