Sydney bus drivers won’t rule out strike action as governments, employers and transport experts grapple with how to keep people safe as restrictions ease

The union representing bus workers in Sydney has said it cannot rule out strike action if the increase in passenger numbers due to the easing of Covid-19 restrictions threatens drivers’ safety.

Disgraceful that public transport workers are either unprotected or they have to arrange their own masks and gloves as they've done in my city.

Well doctors & nurses aren’t getting them. Can’t they just be alert?

Where my son works as a delivery driver the company supplies masks. Government cant be responsible for all workers its up to the employers to keep their staff safe.
