Three teenage friends died from their injuries in an horrific crash when their car hit a tree on a night out together, an inquest heard today.
Emma Serrano, area coroner for Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, said that Morgan Jones, a 17-year-old farmer, died of a severe head injury due to a road traffic collision. A full inquest into all three deaths will likely take place within in the next four months, pending further investigation by police.She was taken to hospital but has since been discharged and is recovering at home.'Sophie was the kindest person who lived her life to the fullest. She is my inspiration to get better and do everything she didn't get a chance to do. She will forever be in my heart.
'We were so proud of the young adult Sophie was becoming, with the life plans she was putting in place. Excelling in college and her work placement, full of drive and ambition to have her own business. Sophie loved her friends and was enjoying embracing her teenage life and having the best time.'Forever in our hearts, 17 always.'
Their statement read: 'He was a beautiful soul, a wonderful son, brother, uncle, grandson and family member to all that knew him.
