'There's just me, trying to reach as many families as I can' Emilie, a Baby Bank volunteer, is single-handedly delivering essential items to new mums during the lockdown

Coronavirus: Baby bank runs services with one volunteerBut in Hartlepool, hundreds of parents who rely on nappy donations are finding it even more difficult, because their local Baby Bank has closed.

Now, one if its volunteers - herself a mother - is going from house to house delivering items to women in need.

Bring back the washable nappies that were used for generations, save having to buy week after week.

Does it not anger anyone that in this so called 'great country' of ours that there is a need for a baby bank? I applaud her, but this is our governments failing, baby banks, food banks exist yet the Tories grow fat on profits made because of this crisis. Let's learn from this.
