Freckled man threatens and robs two teen girls in Corby woods

Two teenage girls were threatened and robbed of their phones by a man with freckles in Corby. The man approached them and threatened to use a knife if they did not hand their mobiles over.

The incident took place on Friday, July 15 in the wooded area between Jubilee Avenue and Westcott Way in Corby, according to Northamptonshire Police. Between 12.30pm and 2pm, the teenage friends were approached by a man as they sat on a bench in the woods. He threatened he would use a knife on the two girls unless they handed over their phones, although no knife was ever seen. The teens gave them to him and he walked off towards the Kingswood area.The offender was a white man and about 20-years-old, 5ft 6in and of a slightly large build, according to Northants Police. He had a ginger beard, freckles, and a black mark below his right eye.

He was wearing a full black tracksuit with some red on it and matching black and red baseball cap and black shoes. Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen this man either in and around the woods, walking towards the Kingswood area, or approached by him in a similar manner.At NorthantsLive we're more than just news.
