A fire has broken out at a local centre in Standens Barn in Northampton as temperatures in the town hit 36C.
Unconfirmed reports say that the building on fire is Saprano's Takeaway. This has not been confirmed by Northants Fire and Rescue.Northants Fire and Rescue posted to their social media just after 2pm: "We have crews currently in attendance at a fire in Standens Barn Local Centre, Walledwell Court, Northampton.
“Please help us by keeping clear of the area and following any instructions Northamptonshire Police officers give. This is for your own safety and to allow our crews and appliances to get through."
