Countries you need to quarantine from could change at any point

The Government has hinted that France could be next on the list of countries forcing returning travellers to face quarantine in the UK.to Spain, Luxembourg and Serbia last night, there are fears that a rise in coronavirus cases across the channel could mean the Government soon forces arrivals from France to self-isolate for a fortnight.

Belgium, Andorra and the Bahamas were removed from the government’s ‘safe list’ following a spike in coronavirus cases. People who do not self-isolate when required can be fined up to £1,000 in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland and those returning to Scotland could be fined £480, with fines up to £5,000 for persistent offenders.
