The comedy club chain, which has venues in Birmingham, Glasgow and Nottingham, is working to open a new branch in Leeds city centre. Major acts like Joe Lycett and Michael McIntyre have performed at Glee Clubs.
The company is aiming to open in the former Jongleurs comedy club. In the Glee Club licence application, they state: “The Glee Clubs are a group of live comedy, music and special events venues.“They are the home of stand-up comedy, with regular mixed-bill weekend shows and big names on tour with their solo shows.
