There is a massive difference in pay between England's Lionesses and the England's mens team lionesses football womensfootball

The Lionesses' victory at Wembley when they were crowned champions of UEFA Women's Euro 2022 was thought to be the first step in a massive change in equality, attitude and support for women’s football.

The men's team were paid £300,000 each for reaching the final of Euro 2020. Winning the championship would have resulted in a payout of £460,000 each. The average wage of a Premier League player is £60,000 - a week. Even a freelance content creator for TikTok food videos gets paid more than the Lionesses.

The England men donated this fee to charity. It is not all doom and gloom on the payfront for women’s football. Beth Mead who plays as a forward for Arsenal and the Lionesses earns £25,000 a year. However she has reportedly massively boosted her salary by choosing well-paying sponsorship deals, a savvy move that has seen her personal fortune skyrocket to £413,000.

Wrong though they are and little based on modern economics! You are in primary school. You won’t ask questions. BBC what is the definition of a recession? Because this ain’t it.
