What causes a recession?

The Bank of England is predicting a recession for the UK economy will begin later in 2022.Its citizens, on average, become slightly richer as the value of the goods and services it produces - itsBut sometimes their value falls, and a recession is usually defined as when this happens for two three-month periods - or quarters - in a row.The last time the UK went into recession wasFor most people, economic growth is good.

A growing economy also gives the government more money in taxes. So it can cut taxes, or spend more on benefits, public services and government workers' wages. The Bank of England thinks so, and suggests it will be a long one. It blames that on very sharp increases in prices, especially for energy, with people's incomes continuing to fall after adjusting for rising prices.

Now children the are looking through the square window and asking you all the thoughts that you shouldn’t have because they’re the Tory propaganda channel

We’ve not long come out of one and they are pretty hard to forget!!

Actually it's the start of a DEPRESSION, which will be worse than 'The Great Depression' of the 1930s. How do I know? Because they're announcing it as the 'The Great Reset' and 'building things back better.' And you can't reset or build back anything without first dismantling it.

What is news and why don't bbc know about it?

C'mon, BBC, stop deliberately leaving Brexit off the list of causes. The trade imbalance, credit downgrade, being reclassified as an 'emerging economy', and collapse of the pound is more to do with Brexit. GeneralElectionNow BBC is corrupted.

It won’t affect you because We have to pay an enforced Tax for the BBC

Time for a blocking session of yawn fest Labour trolls.. Back soon.. I may be a while..

Job losses..

Won’t effect me 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ only broke people

This is what it looks like.

It’s easy, it you the media, by constantly pumping out your negative journalism. e.g the fuel crisis was driven by you there wasn’t one but you insisted that there was going to be, proves my point

The Media

Poor leadership. Simples.

Multuple choice question. You can only choose one. A) Tories B) Tories C) Tories

Tories

Over a decade of multiple tory governments, Brexit and incompetence mismanagement of millions of money on unfit/unused covid ppe and biased contracts.

It's just a recession. We've had them before and we shall prevail. Relax everyone. I know times are tough but recessions pass. Wars between nuclear superpowers is what should be on people's minds right now.

Banks, backed by scaremongering media. Next question....

Government politricks causes recession.

Tories

It’s when you lose your capability of growing a fringe.

Home grown entitled greedy toffs banding together to try and kid us all they can run things. Most if not all couldn't run a pissup in a brewery.

It is a Tory party that causes a recession through their gross incompetence at running a balanced economy with fair shares for all.

Sitting on your arse for 18 months and shutting down healthcare and public services. Nobody is surprised.

Constant BBC scaremongering.

The scaremongering causes a recession.

Politicians cause it. Tory, Labour, lib seem doesn't matter. They're all parasites.

So called economists following old school economic models that have no relevance in the modern world and the latest crises facing the globe but due to their own arrogance thinking they know what needs to be done! Wrong though they are and little based on modern economics!

You are in primary school. You won’t ask questions. BBC what is the definition of a recession? Because this ain’t it. Buy bitcoin before you are told to by this gaslighting outlet.

Shutting down the world to try and control a virus, ridiculous and arrogant.
