Why does the media only take one step in the cause and effect formula, rather than the 10 steps or more that having a carbon free future means the cost of energy will become sky high as it isn't as efficient or as cheap as burning coal?

Maybe they should have managed their market risk a bit better

households could be protected by implementing their own renewable energy
