EastEnders legend Jane Beale, played by actress Laurie Brett, is to make a return to the BBC show in an upcoming hour-long episode.

EastEnders legend Jane Beale is to make a return to Albert Square seven years after leaving the soap opera.

Later this month, a 58-minute episode of the BBC programme will air as the showrunners mark the murder of Lucy Beale in 2014. Despite the family later finding out, it wasn't for another year until Bobby confessed to his crime and was sent to a youth detention centre.This would be the first time she has appeared on the soap since 2017 when she had a run-in with Max Branning who was looking for revenge after being framed for Lucy's murder.
